Aaron and James have been home brewing since 2000, resulting in 18 amazing years of good beer. They have been brewing in the city of Dallas as a hobby, with support of their family and friends, they were strongly encouraged to enter some of the local home brewing competitions. Humbled and surprised to have received 6 awards in the past 5 years.
During their years of competing, they have spent years researching the process of opening up a brewery called Soul Fire Brewing Co. in Roanoke, TX. The team consists of two beer enthusiasts and connoisseurs—Aaron Bennett and James Brown. Soul Fire Brewing Co. and Taproom will begin with brewing several mainstay beers, with a variety of seasonal and limited-release beers. This innovative vision and burning desire for new and fresh ideas will provide an ever-evolving selection of one-off beers.
Each element of the Soul Fire Logo was thoughtfully designed to evoke the distinct passion and personality upon which the brand was built. The double “B” monogram does just that,representing the hard work and partnership shared by co-founders Bennett and Brown as they embark on their mission to serve bold and superior beer that fuels the fire of the community.
An amber color with a thin lace head. A perfect balance aroma of tropical fruit, pine, and malt, gives way a burst of citrus dominating the palette. Then follows through a slight malt finish. Creating a very drinkable double IPA that finishes dry and pleasing, leaving the drinker craving another sip.
Smooth, balanced stout, and has a depth of roasted complexity.
Copper color nicely carbonated, biscuit and slight toasty malt aroma dominates a light hop aroma specialty malts create a very clean and smooth beer. Achieved by an 8 week lager cycle this is definitely a seasonable beer that can be enjoyed on a hot summer day or winter evenings.
Deep translucent brown color mild carbonation, slight citrus pine aroma gives way to a roasted malt aroma. The roasted malt dominate is an easy drinking brown ale with a slight coffee notes shines through. A dry finish and well hopped brown ale.
Straw color lacing head mild carbonation. A citrus and juniper pine dominate the aroma. The pale and wheat malt provide a slight haze. Spices and orange peel are used to create this classic and very refreshing ale to be enjoyed by all.

Unfiltered and noticeably hazy. Cloudy is the new black! Oats crate a soft & creamy mouthfeel. Equinox hops are the star of the show, with the soft malty notes just acting as a pillow to hold up the hops.

This is Brown Curtains with serrano peppers and cilantro added to the secondary fermentation. A pumpkin porter, spiced with nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, and cloves
A dark brown ale with a thin cream head. The aroma is malt dominate, with various spices shining through. The alcohol content is hidden in the strong malt backbone. A slight hopping gives way to the unique spice blend. The finish is rather pleasing where the alcohol comes through, reminding you it is a sipping ale.
This Old Ale is a malty-sweet beer brewed in the winter months. It is usually quite dark, but not as dark as a stout, with a big malt presence.
Red IPA, complex malt backbone dry hopped for notes of citrus and pine, it’s almost as surprising as the season itself.
A very seasonable, malt-driven beer. road style description commonly associated with cask-conditioned beers. The light- to medium-bodied ordinary bitter is gold to copper in color, with a low residual malt sweetness. Hop bitterness is medium.
